Shower area definitely needs refurbishing!!! Shower curtain filthy, headboard stained, water only warm enough for one quick shower, and the carpet looks decades old. Could be better overall!!!

this b & b is in a great spot for james herriot fans, just a short walk to the museum. our room was super cozy, and the host, geoffrey, was really friendly and had awesome tips for local eats. breakfast was really good with a variety of options, and i loved the nice coffee served in cafetière. the whole place has a lovely charming feel, it felt like home. will def come back again!

The breakfast was a delight better than any fast food grease I've ever tasted and the host Geoffrey was like a breath of fresh air very welcoming and down to earth. Then there were those pillows soft as a dream making it tough to get outta bed in the morning.
